Ronald McDonald
House® Alberta
Ronald McDonald House Alberta (formerly Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families with seriously ill or injured children by providing a home away from home near their child’s hospital. With Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat, the organization offers comfort, compassion, and community to families from across Alberta and beyond.

As the in-house Graphic Designer for the past four years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to Ronald McDonald House Alberta’s visual storytelling — developing creative campaigns, event materials, and digital assets that help share its mission and strengthen brand recognition across the province.

On October 15, 2025, the organization underwent a brand modernization, which included a name change from Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta to simply Ronald McDonald House Alberta. This evolution reflects a more streamlined and approachable identity while maintaining its connection to the global Ronald McDonald House family.

The modernization also introduced an updated colour palette, incorporating brighter, more contemporary tones to reflect the warmth, hope, and energy of the families Ronald McDonald House Alberta serves. This refreshed look represents the organization’s commitment to remaining both timeless and forward-thinking as it continues to support families in their greatest time of need.
