Microsoft Canada is the Canadian subsidiary of the multinational technology company, Microsoft Corp. Since being founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen, we have become one of the largest technology companies in the world. MICROSOFT ANNOUNCES THEIR NEW MICROSOFT SURFACE LAPTOP 4
April 13th, 2021
Today on April 13th, 2021, Microsoft has unveiled their upcoming Surface Laptop 4 set to begin shipping on April 15th in U.S., Canada, and Japan. The Microsoft Surface line has seen much success with consumers after being debuted back in 2012. This year the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 will feature a 201 PPI, high-contrast touchscreen display, and Dolby® Atmos™ Omnisonic speakers. Besides the many color options, consumers will also be able to choose between either a 13.5” or 15” model, and also between the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors or AMD Ryzen™ Mobile Processors with Radeon™ Graphics Microsoft Surface® Edition (8 cores); all impressive specifications. This year the Surface Laptop 4 has an improved battery life when compared to previous models. Microsoft is expecting that this line of flagship laptops will result in an increase in sales, as the company prepares for a profitable summer. CEO Satya Narayana Nadella states, “It’s an exciting time and with the feedback we’ve been receiving from our consumers, this could be Microsoft’s most profitable year to date.” The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is set to replace all of last year’s models sold in their stores and will feature a similar price starting at $999 USD. To usher in this new line of laptops, Microsoft will be ramping up all stores with double the associates following a massive hiring fair that is currently being held throughout April. Consumer, Mike Peterson, is equally as excited and when interviewed, notes, “I’ve been a Surface Laptop user from day one, and it’s incredible to see that Microsoft is listening to us, the consumer, and bringing upgrades that will benefit the community.”
