KFC Barbados

KFC Barbados is one of the island’s most recognized quick-service restaurant brands, celebrated for its flavorful offerings and deep connection to Barbadian culture. Each year, the brand embraces local traditions through creative campaigns that celebrate national pride and community spirit.

In 2024, I was commissioned for the second consecutive year to illustrate the artwork for KFC’s Crop Over Snack Box — a limited-edition design released during Barbados’ vibrant carnival season. Partnering with a design agency responsible for the layout, my role focused on creating the illustrations that visually told the story of Crop Over and Grand Kadooment.

Drawing inspiration from the festival’s most iconic elements — including Tuk Bands, sugar cane trucks, masqueraders, and other cultural symbols — I developed a lively, colorful design that captured the rhythm, energy, and joy of this cherished Barbadian tradition. The final snack box design stood as a celebration of community, creativity, and culture through the lens of one of the island’s most beloved brands.
